Only internal auth is supported but a LDAP class can be made. Got a few examples:

Created the LDAP class with separate config (in the general config file) ; it auto-creates an account and a blog with admin rights.
Added some Apache magic to set the blog ID (DC_BLOG_ID env var).
The is a new value dc-blogs for the allowedServices attributetype (for authorization)
