Description

If Toushirou is kept in production, then adding more memory would be really nice.

This one would fit nicely:

Old one is 666MHz, so we can replace it completely with 2*2Go, or even 4*2Go (and then ensure the memory really is not at fault for #39, even if memtest found no problem).

Beware, it seems it is a SuperMicro PDSMI+ model (according to dmidecode) which does not support more than 667 MHz; we need to check.

  • 4 slots
  • total max 8GB
  • DDR2 667/533MHz unbuffered (PC2-5300, or higher PC2-<n> are compatible)

Could not find PC2-5300/5400 from a correct brand and >=2GB memory modules, so i had to buy PC2-6400 instead. I will replace memory at the datacenter visit planned for the anniversary.

Memory replaced successfully. Old memory kept, and could be readded if Toushirou's instability is prouved to be caused by other reasons.
