Default backlog_always is false and log is true, so we could indeed change default backlog_lines to 0 indeed.

We would need to annouce this change as important though, so that users having log = false are aware memory usage could increase if they don't set it manually to another value. But then I guess noone kept the default of 10 anyways :D
